Yesterday at New York Fashion Week, the luxury fashion house Khaite showcased its Fall/Winter 2023 Collection. The collection featured bold, modern takes on classic silhouettes, with the perfect blend of sophistication and edge. The runway show began with an array of colors, notably soft blues, and pinks, in the form of oversized coats, long skirts, and wide-legged trousers. The garments were luxurious and the attention to detail was second to none. The pieces had a minimalist feel, with minimal detailing and carefully constructed cuts. As the show progressed, the garments became more toned down, with a strong focus on earth tones and neutrals. Blazers, dresses, and jumpsuits made from fabrics such as cashmere, wool, and bold shearling pieces featured prominently and were paired with the label’s signature pointed-toe shoes and statement handbags. The collection was an ode to the classic and timeless wardrobe staples, with a modern flair. The garments were timeless yet contemporary and were designed to be transitional pieces that can be worn throughout the seasons. Catherine Holstein's eye for detail was evident in the impeccable tailoring, and the quality of the fabrics was nothing less than luxurious. Khaite’s Collection is sure to be a hit with its perfect blend of sophistication and edge. The pieces are sure to become wardrobe staples for years to come.
