  • PatBo NYFW '22 Runway

PatBo has done it again returning to the limelight after the company's iconic debut in 2021. The runway show was held in the gorgeous historic Surrogate's Court in Manhattan, New York. New York fashion week has been taken by a storm this year through the rich Brazilian and South American heritage of PatBo. With designs representing a beauty that transcends boundaries, designer Patricia Bonaldi, has created looks of class for the public eye to adore. "Time is the most precious thing in life, so to me, being able to wear something that was made by hand and took considerable time to make is a beautiful experience," says Bonaldi. PatBo's fall 22 collection has made statements through embroidered fabrics and diamond pieces influenced by early aughts glamour. The runway show was sold out as tickets were purchased at a rapid price for the anticipation of the designer's recent creations. Patricia Bonaldi's couture beginnings are promising as each piece has stunned and captivated many. She presented sequins, bold fabrics, and glamour with a timeless spin. Even her black and white pieces made bold statements as they dipped into the world of elegance and class. "I want women to feel like they are putting on a piece of jewelry when they wear this collection," says Bonaldi. PatBo's collection created an anticipation on the runway as Bonaldi's brand is expected to evolve in the United States and continue to revolutionize the modern bridge between culture and fashion.

  • Ivy Heart: Something for Everyone

In anticipation of Valentine's Day, Beyoncé's adidas x IVY PARK collaboration has just released their Ivy Heart line. A diverse collection, it includes sizes XS - 4X with prices ranging from $30 - $300. More importantly, Ivy Heart spans a variety of styles to suit every taste. You can find romantic, sexy, athletic, casual, and chic looks in this line, along with stylish accessories and shoes. As an added bonus, some items are made of recycled materials, showing an effort toward more sustainably made clothing. Sexy Looks Faux latex has been trending recently, but no one quite nails the smoldering look of latex like Beyoncé does in this collection. These red latex pants are the perfect pair of sexy pants, accentuating curves in just the right way. Another option is the seductive red latex tank dress. Priced at $120, this dress' snug fit, flattering seams, and lined cups certainly give that wow factor. Romantic Looks There is no shortage of softer, more romantic clothing options in this collection. A lovely choice for the romantics out there is the velour dress in Shock Pink. With long, off-the shoulder-sleeves and a tight, curve-hugging fit, this is a great option for date night. As shown on the model, a belt and purse will heighten this already beautiful dress. Athletic and Casual Looks Ivy Heart heavily features athleisure, including track pants, tights, shorts, tees, bralettes, and track jackets. In true Valentine's Day fashion, the colors for these items are reds, purples, pinks, and a snakeskin print. This family of colors allows for easy mix and matching. Many items include Adidas' iconic stripes, such as the all gender velour track pants in Cherry Wood ($100). For the environmentally conscious, the red B Mine Tights ($85) are made with recycled polyester that originate from production waste (e.g. cutting scraps and post-consumer household waste). Chic Looks In addition to Ivy Heart's sexy, romantic, and athletic offerings, there are also options for the fashionistas out there who love classy, chic outfits. One iconic look in the collection is the Jumpsuit 3.0, retailing at $160. This red jumpsuit features a plunging neckline, padded shoulders, an elongated belt to taper the waist, and 3 pink stripes on the side of the pant legs. The straight cut pant legs are balanced beautifully by a slender design for the chest and waist, and was surely made to flatter many body types. Yet another chic choice is the Sequined Duster. With a snakeskin pattern, this long, shimmering coat is truly a statement piece. Best of all, it can be worn as a jacket or a dress. Must Have Accessories and Shoes Such stylish outfits need equally stylish accessories and shoes. Priced at $80, the Heart Belt Bag (pictured with the velour dress) is a fun and unique accessory, perfect for fashionable storage and tapered waistlines. It has three bag options: one heart-shaped, one lip- shaped, and one pouch, all done in Shock Pink. The three bag options can easily be mixed and matched onto the belt, and you can continue the customization with a faux fur strap or a wristlet to hook onto any of the bags. In a true collaboration with Adidas, the Ivy Heart collection offers sporty and comfortable choices for shoes. The Savage shoes are a flashback to the late 1990s/ early 2000s. The design for the Savages were stored in Adidas' archives for 20 years until Ivy Park decided to revisit the style. The sneaker has neutral tones in white and beige, perfect to match with an array of different colors. The red slides, retailing at $50, are another bold - and comfortable - choice. With a small platform and smooth leather upper, these slides are made for stylish comfort. So, this Valentine's Day, treat yourself or your loved ones to one of Beyoncé's gorgeous looks - you're sure to find something you'll love.
