Jason Wu Fall 2022 RTW Collection

Jason Wu Taiwanese-born fashion designer known for his sophisticated and well-crafted creations. For the fall 2022 ready to wear collection at NYFW, he looked at fashion illustrations of the 1950s. The collection is inspired by 1950s-style glamor including a bow front separated into cocktail dress and cigarette trousers, tweeds designed into mini dresses and wrap printing apparels. “Women just want to look beautiful,” Wu rationalized in an interview with Vogue and this collection is the perfect example of that. He showed a feminine and elegant look packed with ladylike silhouettes, rich gem tones and sensitive subtleties.
