Brandon Maxwell's F/W 2024 Collection is Ready for the Nine-to-Five

By: Jackson Collins

Forget casual Friday; power dressing is back—according to Brandon Maxwell. Business chic has been all over the runways this season, and Maxwell managed to make a collection that stands out despite its simplicity.

The show occurred in the Navy Yard’s Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn, New York. The space was painted stark white, including the walls and chairs. It gave the presentation a unique atmosphere.

Maxwell is known for uncomplicated, monochromatic looks — a pattern that continues in this collection. Solid gray, black, and white formal looks are consistently featured, which are perfect for both professional settings and dinner parties.

This line shows Maxwell venturing into the world of prints, a contrast to the brand’s previous fall collections. Botanical prints are sprinkled throughout it, as well as black streaks on white skirts that look similar to birch trees.

The lookbook’s flowy fabrics and wearable silhouettes are suitable for everyone. The working professional and the ambitious woman will both adore these looks.
